Subversion, Sacrifice, and Salvation

This is the nascent home of my NaNoWriMo 2009 novel Subversion, Sacrifice, and Salvation. I would tell you all about it, but there are a couple of small problems with that.
1. I haven’t written it all yet – NaNoWriMo rules clearly stipulate that I cannot begin writing until the 1st of November. Well, I’ve started, but haven’t finished it yet. Even after the 30 days, I passed the required 50,000 words, but am STILL not done. Hopefully soon. Update – Still working on it. I just keep on going. The climactic battle held in the underwater mansion is… well, I’ve already said too much.
2. If I told you all about it now, you wouldn’t be surprised by anything.
This novel is placed upon a much larger stage than was Compensating Controls. Hopefully, when it becomes available, you will enjoy it.
If you’d still like some additional information, here is a short synopsis of the novel as it exists today:
An ancient and evil threat has surfaced to once again threaten humanity. What makes this all the more heinous is the lack of forethought and malice. Evil simply is. To combat this threat, a special team has been formed, with special skills and abilities. The future is in the hands of a bunch of maladjusted, broken individuals. May God have mercy on our souls.
I’d include an excerpt, but I’m afraid I’d give away a plot twist. Either that or I’m just chicken. Believe what you will.

Update – Consulted with a mechanical engineer on a certain phase of the novel. nifty.
I have officially finished the first draft of S3 or Subversion, Sacrifice, and Salvation! 64,039 words.
Here’s the odd question though… Will it get bigger or smaller with editing. Common thought says smaller… but I tend to get bigger… hhhmmm…
Follow on question… is this important enough to be included as a blog post? Maybe even a podcast anouncement?
